Sometimes I get some strange looks but they've alway taken them.
These things are great in reasonable quantities for business that handle cash all the time, because they are useful for making change. For $50 worth of gas you give them 50 1-dollar units, which they can then give back out in change as needed. I pick blueberries in the summer, and this past summer I paid for everything with the coins, I said to one lady that I figured they were convenient for her to give out as change, she said yes, they would be, except I'm keeping them!
