No it means if you get 75 nights during 2010 you will have Plat status at least through February 28, 2011, and most likely February 29, 2012. (Vague memory recalls someone posting that if you do the rolling qualification in the first two months of the year, it is only through Feb of the next year - others with actual experience may be able to provide more details, or contradictions to my recollection, from their actual experiences).

The rolling 12 months does not work for elite status renewal, only advancing to the next level.
