Stayed over the weekend. Overpriced, but that's standard in Asheville.

As someone said above, it's an older hotel that has changed brands and been renovated countless times. So the hallways, elevators, etc., feel older, but the furnishings are in good shape. The rooms are find, standard. Nice, large flat-screen TV. Beds seem to be the regular 4-point bed. Bathrooms standard bathrooms with standard stuff.

Location is both good and bad. As far as access to downtown, it's great. Awesome restaurants and bars all over the place south of the hotel, and easily walkable.

It is, however, right next to the interstate, so there is a lot of traffic noise.

Staff seemed nice and competent.
