I just completed a quick stay at the Munich Renaissance. The room was very, very dated. I was there on a priceline bid...so maybe I got a priceline room. Based on this experience (the room in dire need of renovation), I would never pay the going rate they charge to book directly.
Otherwise fine for a quick stay.
If going to/from the airport, the LH bus is very convenient.
