ETA: It might be possible to score a JL flight number on DFW-NRT. I know code shares aren't supposed to work, but since PDX-LAX does, this would be worthy of further investigation.
Unfortunately not possible. The closest JL gateway would be MEX (until min-Jan only, though). But that entails paying the additional JL YQ ($72 each way) and positioning flights.
What do you mean by PDX-LAX works?
