I've been caught out with the UK Concierge being closed several times, when special events (e.g. Mothers Day) come-up they seem to have a team dedicated to that task, this team has longer hours than the normal UK Concierge. Foreign concierge are not supposed to help, when I have used a local agent the call is normally 'closed' by their supervisor, I then call UK to initiate the call that goes straight back to the local office.

PTS has the same problem, before the Centurion card, if you rang PTS out of hours for the home country you got 'Emergency Travel Assistance'. This was the corporate travel arm dealing with the personal cards for travel in the next 48H, anything outside of that was dealt with 'Please ring back during normal office hours'. With Centurion up and running I've been forwarded to them for travel arrangements when PTS is closed.
