Edit to add: Don't know if you or your spouse would be into it, but have you considered spending some time in Manhattan? 7 hours is a lot of time to spend in an airport.
I couldn't find the information regarding the spouse and child on the website. Any like to that? I would hate it if I buy it now and show up there and they wouldn't let them in.
