A 30 day pass is only $90 and would allow you access for you and your spouse (and child). This would save you as a day pass is $50 PER person PER day. With that much time at JFK, you could if you wanted, to explore the various Sky Clubs. But I don't know how much moving around you want to do with your child. T2 DSC is nice also some of the T3 clubs that open later in the day (where there is much more in terms of shopping, duty free and food options).

Edit to add: Don't know if you or your spouse would be into it, but have you considered spending some time in Manhattan? 7 hours is a lot of time to spend in an airport.
