It's not such a bad idea. Many times when I travel, I decline housekeeping service by putting the do not disturb sign on the door. Getting some extra points along the way does not hurt.
Does one have to call the number every morning or just once for the whole stay. If one is staying somewhere for a week, is there a way to decline the service every other day?
Why are people saying that this is not as generous as Starwood? That other thread said they give you a $5 card or 500 points also.
