The RCC is in Terminal 1, and the CRC (and CO gates) are in Terminal 2 and they are not connected behind security. The only other option in Terminal 2 is the Admiral's Club.

Thanks to all. I can't see a Delta CR membership benefitting me inasmuch as I fly out of SAN about six times a year. But I appreciate the heads up.
You may want to look at a Priority Pass membership; DL dropped its participation but the PC, RCC, and AC are all available on it.
