This has been an ongoing problem with all Chase certs for all airlines it has relationships with. Maybe that's the idea....
Plus, with UA, there was the problem last year (or the year before) that some figured out the sequentuality of the numbering of the $100.00 e-certs and was selling them on e-bay thus making all $100.00 invalid.
