Booking a RT nonstop BOS - FCO on DL (8130, 8129) which is operated by Alitalia (AZ 615, 614), all booking class U...
This will be booked on Delta.com... so the question..
On Delta, using Skymiles, I realized that there would not be an MQM's in the U fare...
However, using my WP number, will it be seen/credited by NWA as a Delta U fare or a Alitalia U fare?
I was confused (on NWA's WP site) by the line under the DL section that read, "
Elite Qualifying Fare Classes (or codeshare equivalent) on Delta-coded, Delta-operated flights (except where noted)" The "
except where noted" was causing me confusion.
Seeing as how U is not even listed in the Alitalia section, I'm guessing that an Alitalia U would = zilch zero nada...is this correct?
If the consensus is I'd get nothing, I'l book on the all delta metal via JFK (which adds a loonngg layover)...
