My better half and I stayed at the Hilton Istanbul for five days during the summer of 2001 and were treated like royalty. Don't know how many DIAMONDs they see there, but I've rarely had a nicer hotel stay ANYWHERE. It was our first visit to Turkey ... but, after that stay, definitely not our last.
