I once booked an award flight Sydney to Brisbane. Went to OLCI the night before, and couldnt. A bit of checking revealed that my flight had already left that night. I thought that I had checked my booking several times but had booked the day earlier than I wanted. I had to book an expensive last minute fare. Luckily I didnt lose my original return flight.
