We stayed at the Grosvenor Edinburgh Hilton last summer and liked it very much. The proximity to the Haymarket train station was convenient for us. Just after we arrived I took a taxi to the Registrar's Office to "save time" because I didn't know where anything was. It cost 5 pounds for the taxi. My husband and daughter took a bus for a few pence and we all walked back together.
The family room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was served downstairs in the Club. Several discussions were required to have the charge for the breakfast removed. The Diamond benefits print out seemed to help. Overall we were very happy with our stay here and at the Dunblane Hilton nearby.
