When you go to www.frontierairlines.com you get three fare choices shown on one page. One is called Classic Plus and is unrestricted, refundable, includes two free bags, free TV, a meal or snack, and advance seat selection. The other is called Classic which includes seat assignment, free TV, two free bags, and reduced change fees. The third is called economy and provides seat assignment only at checkin (24 hours in advance online). Baggage is extra and there are change fees. Surprisingly there is not a huge difference in cost, and the Classic Plus is sometimes hundreds of dollars less than other airlines, including Southwest, and it provides services that Southwest doesn't even offer. When you move your mouse over the type of fare you get a list which details all the features included in the fare. It works perfectly. However, if you buy your tickets at online travel agencies like Orbitz, Expedia, etc, you won't get those options. They'll only display the cheapest fare and you'll have to pay extra for baggage, etc. Overall, I think it's a fairly decent way of trying to compete with both major airlines, and Southwest whose business model is so different from the others.
