Each to their own, but it is one of our favorite places - just returned from there in February. Lots to do there: Dolphin Quest is an experience, my wife raves about (and spends much time at) the spa there, also some fairly good restaurants on site. A ride in the boat at night to your room is a relaxing and sometimes romantic experience.
We trek out during the day to other locations on the island - neat little day trips.

If you are Gold, the Towers concierge area (when available) is great - Rose and the staff there do a wonderful job - food is fantastic for munchies. They will comp you for breakfast at any of their restaurants if the Towers is full.

Oh, and one thing more. There is one of the famous "Roy's" restaurants just down the road in a nearby mall.

Aloha !!!
