My personal preference is the Copley Marriott but I use the Back Bay Hilton as my back up. The location can't be beat and the rooms are acceptable. Parking will cost you your next born although I would take the T or cab. I guess it depends on what you are doing in beantown. Its walking distance to Fenway, all the downtown schools (not BC or Harvard), the charles, Faneuil hall if you don't mind the 20 to 30 minute walk and more. Check out Legal seafood next door to the Hilton in the Pru.
