I must confess I did exactly that one time and thatsa why I ended up at the YVR Hampton Inn. I would book the Hampton Inn and keep checking on the nice Hilton Metrotown pricing. Do it by calling direct and the "800" and the web. Each actually can have different pricing/availability at the same time.
