Surprise!
I stayed at LV Hilton at this $25 rate in July and received 298 HHonors points. This was totally unexpected. I had prepaid the $25+$2.25tax through LVRS, but charged $4.17 on my room account (it's just the coffee). So I received a bill for $4.17 only. I have no idea how they came up with teh 298 pts.
Last time I stayed at Reno Hilton, I didn't charge anything on my room account. Everything was prepaid and they didn't give me a bill.
