National car rental companies are accustomed to customers exchanging vehicles when there is a (safety) issue. Sometimes you may get a smaller car and other times you may get a larger vehicle based on what is available in the current inventory. You may want to call the local office Las Vegas to inquire about what they have (and where they are located as many companies have office in town) before going to one of their offices.
