I've been doing a lot of research for a good hotel near exit 4 or 5 of the NJ turnpike - for me and my twin teens.

I'd prefer exit 5 as it is closer to our destination. I know and have stayed in the HI there, but they don't have a single room large enough to handle all three of us. (I'm not sharing a bed with either of those two and they haven't shared a bed in years.)

Hampton Inn at exit 5 has a possible option of a king bed with a fold-out couch. Teen boys in the king, mom on the sofa bed? Maybe. It's definitely got a good location going for it since it's closer to our visiting spot and there's a restaurant just outside that will definitely appeal to the boys.

At exit 4, there are simply too many choices and I'm no longer familiar with that area. Plus, there have been construction changes there since the last time I had a hotel room in the area.

Nothing in the area for Choice hotels is appealing to me. I know the reputation of a few of them.
Doubletree, Staybridge, Homewood, Hyatt Place all look fine on the surface but I'm simply not finding a good reason to choose any one in particular. All of those are on my shortlist so far...

So - anyone have any recent information on these? I've done the search for reviews, read up on each of the properties. Nothing helping me there.
Membership languishes in all the major players (ICH, HH, GPP, etc.) at the moment, so there's no real choice for me that way.

Any insight is much appreciated!
