I grew up in the Northwest. Went to Scout camp in the Tillamook area, Camp Meriwether. Always looked forward to a stop at the Tillamook cheese factory. It is still my favorite cheddar cheese (don't like the white, no character). We get the Tillamook cheese with our crew meals.
Can't say I've ever tried it frozen?
As someone else mentioned, we're just happy to know that our meals have been refregerated. That is not always the case and I have discovered many "surprises" in crew meals. Food borne illness is probably one of the bigger hazards for frequent travellers.
