You poor thing! Been to Lesotho a number of times on business. SAA/Airlink use to run daily flight on a small aircraft in the morning from JHB and back in the evening and it is fine. Not much of a choice on hotels but if I am forced to choose go for the Lesotho Sun Hotel. The Maseru Sun Casino is dreadful. The hotel will pick you up in a minibus and the drivers are very helpful and will look after you. Have travelled their on my own as a woman and it is fine. Just be sensible and don't get adventurous. Remember to have cash ready for the king's airport tax on your departure, they do not take credit cards. There is no ATM at the airport and if you can't pay you will have to go back to Maseru (30mins there and 30 mins back) and you will miss your flight.
