I would say OP's flight is more likely to be operated by an Skybed equipped
A332. The reason is that the aircrafts the PER runs sort operate a 'fixed rotation' (e.g. MEL-PER-MEL-PER-MEL/SYD or SYD-PER-SYD-PER-MEL/SYD) on most days of the week except Saturday.
In addition, it appears OP's aircraft would come from SYD as QF 439 which strongly indicates the aircraft is not taken from the PER runs. Besides, an international config A332 would represent too much of a drop in capacity compared to the domestic config A332 (205/207 vs 299) if it was to operate MEL/SYD-PER.
My 2 cents worth of analysis.
