I am going to Vegas in a few weeks, and because of maintaining Platinum status, I am trying to stay at all Starwood properties. But this seems to be a rip at the Planet Hollywood. They want $150 a night for two nights, when I can get Luxor for $100 a night or even the Westin at $120 a night.
Do you think it's worth it?
Depends on what you're looking for. In this case, I'd take Luxor. It's connected by an easy walk or free tram ride to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur; and from Excalibur a simple walk to New York New York and MGM. Without a car, you can get to several nice properties with a lot to offer. The Westin is never an option for me. Just my opinion.
