Be very careful there - IIRC AmEx does not cover luggage delays on your trip home.
Actually I have spoken to them about this - because I am on a trip which started in LAS and will be returning to LAS they will cover me. I actually live in LAS but keep my UK issues card and BAEC at my UK address. Well at least I have a case number....!!! We shall see
