I realize that this question is totally based on the eye of the beholder, but how important is it for someone to stretch to Diamond status?
I will be 2-3 paid stays away from Diamond and I can use my FFN coupon for a three flight layovers, or charge $150x3 to get to Diamond.(personal money).
It is not totally the money, but I already have quite a few nights in my stash (Marriott, Starwood, Hyatt, + three timeshares).
So I am trying to decide if the stretch is worth it?
