I will earn the neccesary points to reach my plat challenge on the flight from HKK to SFO - And while in SFO i have a 3.5 hour layover. Since at that time i would technically be a PLAT - would i be able to get lounge access? Or will i need to wait until my flights post? (I fly back out to BKK 1 week later, so I should be good by then).

Thanks in advance!

Last august I did a PLT challenge.
I flew : LAS-DFW-NRT-LAX-LAS. I crossed the 10K points threshold over the Pacific
on the NRT-LAX flt.
On arrival at LAX , I went to the AC , explaind the situation to the agent.
She called ( I don't know who ) to verify and gave me access to the AC.
I ( obviously ) did not have a PLT card and the Boarding card for the LAX-LAS flt.
( received already in NRT ) did not show any elite status.
Good luck
Cheers
Michael
