This has been so for quite some time. Actually, for a while E-M was the only firm to get a negative score because Mobil had same sex domestic partner benefits, but when Exxon bought them, Exxon took away the benefits. So they must have improved!
Exxon's shareholders routinely shoot down the motions to bring back these benefits, as well as adding sexual discrimination to the company's nondiscrimination policy. You can still be fired for being gay at E-M.
The icing on the cake is that E-M still refuses to invest a cent in alternative energy/renewables R&D. They spent a lot of money on this in the 90s and lost it all. Until recently (not sure if this has changed), their official corporate line was that global warming is a myth.
