It is important to participate, and I understand the reason for the question. A fair point for sure.
That said, there is at least one person at whom this question is directed who I know to be very participative for FT. I am going to take the position that it is only one person I know of among that group because I do not know everybody’s situation. I am going to give a collective pass to everyone because they got out and decided to run. That bears respect for me.
I would hope that any one of us that you select to represent you on TalkBoard would be committed to participating in any and all discussions. It is my view that if you take the job you have to do the job. You have to do it the whole time.
There are good people running this time. We are lucky to have so may that care enough to do so.
Others have done the same job before us. I thank them.
I hope I can have a chance to do it now.
