Someone said in a recent chat, "FT is a benevolent dictatorship". I think TB's role is to stand up to anyone (including Randy) on any issue that the community feels strongly about. But we also need to be able to deal with Randy disagreeing on an issue and choosing a different direction.
That being said, I haven't seen too many things that Randy hasn't been willing to listen to us on.
