My boss was on the inaugural flight sitting in E+.
His flight experience:

IAH-IAD-DXB:

IAH-IAD: A319, Nothing Special, flight was pretty full. 60% to 75% of the passengers from this flight ended up at the IAD-DXB flight. His 500 milers did not clear so I assumed most of folks 1st class cabin were paid passengers. And perhaps more had to sit in coach class.

IAD-DXB: Gate C2: There were food in front of gate area. NBC news anchor Brian Williams was there for NBC Nightly News. United and UAE officials were also there. Right before the plane departed, they cut the ribbon for boarding.
Typical UA boarding, gate lices from all classes were around the boarding area.

On the plane, First/Business/E- were full however, E+ was about 60% full. Flight departure was on time. Right about 1 hr into the flight, flight attendants handed out "Inaugural Flight Certificate" to every passenger on board. The plane landed in Dubai on Schedule about 6:40pm local time. As the plane taxi to the gate, two fire trucks spreaded water over the plane. Everyone then clapped when the plane reached the gate.

That summed up his experience on the inaugural flight. Myself and my boss will take the DXB-IAD-IAH flight this Thursday night at 11:30pm local time. However, I am not looking forward to sit in coach for 15+ hrs. E+ will definitely help. Thanks for reading.
