Why waste the coins on the co-pay? All of my doctors accept credit cards for the co-pay so I use either my Amtrak Guest Rewards MasterCard or my Starwood Amex to pay the copay. The dollar coins are reserved for purchases at places that do not accept credit cards. Like the Carnegie Deli in NYC, which only accepts cash. Or to tip waitresses at casinos for free drinks.
