So I exit kayak and log back into spg. It would be so much easier if there were linkage.

I believe Kayak is considered a third party booking website. Not sure if most third party websites would agree to link up to our websites, so I think there might be more contract issues involved in this case. Do correct me if I am wrong.
Unless it is tripadvisor.com which links up to every single hotel website that is available.
