You do not need to be a MPC member to find out:
* www.cathaypacific.com (under "Schedules") - You can see the type.
* EF - You can check the seat configurations for the flights.

However, CX changes equipment so often that it may not be too useful. In July alone, CX changed equipment on all my long-haul flights, and I kept losing my seat assignments. In one case, it changed about three days before a flight and then again within the last few hours. In the other case, it changed about two days before the flight. We could not do OLCI (and even MPC could not get us new seat assignments - they were locked), and had to get to the airport to get our seats. We were broken up - two upstairs and two downstairs in a full J.

I suspect that will remain the case as long as not all 744s/74Js are converted.
