Thanks for posting this information. My sister just lost 35,000 miles due to 18 months of inactivity. When she logged into her account to redeem her miles she was upset she lost them about a month ago. She called me in a frantic state and I told her the only way to get them back is to pay to reactivate them. This is a much better deal!
