We booked a standard room with a request for a rollaway bed for our nine year old son. Following e-mail exchange and their recognition of my PC status we received two room suite and they had put a regular single bed in the living room.

Received bottle of local wine, dead sea salts, fruit and chocolates upon arrival. They also comped breakfast.

Swimming pool is small but adequate although it is heated (why - this is Jordan)?

Rooms are a little basic but comfortable enough.

Hotel is adjacent to the entrance to Petra so you can be first in at 06:00hrs well before the tour busses and when the temperature is still pleasant.

Restaurant does offer an A La Carte menu but they are mor interested in steering you towards their (reasonable value for money) buffets.
