As for 3-class? I'm not flying to Asia in standard economy.
A rotation of 4 aircraft flying and one spare on day-long flights is pretty much ideal for a small subfleet. Reducing it to just EWR, with 2 aircraft flying and one spare (and the others sold), blows the economics.
If they call fill these birds with pax, they might be able to squeeze in more cargo to improve the revenue generated by each flight.
