And gee, aren't airline representatives incredibly ignorant and annoying!! at least lufthansa was worse.

The website is not clear about whether you'll need to pay an extra 75% for a child seat (in case you don't get one of the britax seats they provide on a first come-first serve basis, and which are in the bassinet position in the bulkhead seating and thus not in a plane seat) or whether you only pay 10% for infant fare. The representative had no idea and kept telling me to check their website, which of course I've done. gah! Has anyone done this?

Second... the representative told me that it's unlikely I'll be able to gate check my stroller and get it back for the layover - she said we'd most likely have to check it with our bags and get it at the final destination. But we really need a stroller during the layover. Has anyone brought a stroller on BA?
If you don't book a seat at the 75% child fare then you pay the 10% infant fare and should get a bassinet position. You should get a Britax seat if you ask as soon as you board (so take advantage of priority boarding) - but if you don't then it'll have to be one of the bassinet cots instead. If you book a seat for them at the 75% fare then you won't get the bassinet (unless it's a really quiet flight).

For the stroller issue, we have had ours onboard before - if it's an umbrella folding one then it will fit in one of the Club World wardrobes. Speak nicely to the CSD or Purser as you board and they might keep it onboard for you - depends on how rammed the flight is but we've always had ours onboard IIRC and have always found the Cabin Crew to be very helpful.
