Your Malibu Barbie Dreamhouse Fantasy Just Came True

Your Malibu Barbie Dreamhouse Fantasy Just Came True
Jennifer Billock

Did you spend your childhood fawning over Barbie and Ken and dreaming of hours spent in her convertible and mansion and all the other fascinating places she was able to spend time in? Well now’s your chance to live out those Barbie-fueled dreams; the Barbie Dreamhouse is available to rent on Airbnb.

Barbie fans, get ready—you’ll soon have a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in her Dreamhouse. The house is in Malibu, decorated in shades of pink and white, and is listed on Airbnb. Barbie wrote the listing herself, apparently.

“My Dreamhouse has three floors with ocean views and open spaces for friends and family to hang,” she said in the listing. “My pool is the perfect place to cool off from the California sun, but I never travel without my waterslide, so I’ll be taking that with me.”

In addition to the pool and spectacular views, guests will be able to enjoy a walk-in closet with different costumes, an office, a DJ booth, a master bedroom, Barbie’s travel trunk, a tub for bubble baths, a stocked hobby room, a meditation terrace, a sports court, an outdoor dining space, a spare bedroom, and a fully stocked kitchen. There’s enough space for four people, plus a personal cinema, a staff, and special excursions like “one-on-one fencing lessons from world-class fencing champion Ibtihaj Muhammad, a tour of the Columbia Memorial Space Center from aerospace engineer Jill Meyers, a hands-on cooking lesson from Malibu Seaside Chef founder Gina Clarke-Helm, and a makeover from celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin,” Thrillist reported.

Only a single two-night stay is available, from October 27 to October 29, and you have to be fast; booking opens on Airbnb at 11 a.m. Pacific on October 23. The house costs $60 per night, and the proceeds will fund a donation to The Barbie Dream Gap Project.

I am a living Barbie doll.
This would be fabulous, except the author of the article is citing something in the present indicative tense, and the dates are from October. Fact check next time, rather than waste FlyerTalkers time (by the way, this is NOT the first time this particular author has seriously erred… maybe we shouldn’t accept her articles on this website anymore).
