You Can’t Sync Your Amex Offers on Twitter or Facebook Anymore

You Can’t Sync Your Amex Offers on Twitter or Facebook Anymore
Caroline Lupini

It’s no longer possible to sync new Amex Offers with your American Express credit cards through Facebook or Twitter. You’ll now be forced to login to your American Express account to sync these deals directly to your card.

Amex Offers have been a great way to get extra value out of both main and authorized user American Express cards since they launched. In fact, it’s one of the reasons why I can justify paying the $550 annual fee on my Platinum Card from American Express. I’m easily able to save a couple hundred dollars per year with Amex Offers.

This is an unfortunate development for Amex Offers users who liked to easily sync all of their cards at once using Twitter.

Going forward, Amex Offers will still be a great way to save some cash or earn bonus Membership Rewards points, it just won’t be as easy to enroll all of your cards which definitely makes the offers not quite as valuable as they were before.

I ultimately don’t think that I’m going to cancel any of my American Express cards over this development just yet, but it’s definitely not a move in the right direction!
