You Can Now Track Your Bags With Delta’s App

Delta Air Lines customers now have the opportunity to track their bags in real-time with the airline’s updated app.

“We’re the first carrier to offer this level of visibility,” said Bill Lentsch, Delta’s Senior Vice President – Airline Operations and Airport Customer Service, in a press release Tuesday.

The tracking option is made possible through “Radio Frequency Identification” tags  that use radio waves, eliminating the need for hand-held scans, which the company believes will greatly reduce the number of lost luggage incidents.
