YOTEL Unveils “SmartBeds” & “YAWN” Campaign Designed to Help Guests Get a Good Night’s Sleep

YOTEL has partnered with Serta to develop and install new SmartBeds in all of its rooms alongside the launch of a new campaign aimed at helping guests fall asleep.

In an ongoing effort to improve guest experience and provide affordable luxury, YOTEL is bringing a new type of bed into its hotels. The new SmartBed, designed in collaboration with Serta, is an adjustable mattress that folds from a flat bed into a couch with the push of a button.

“The heart of YOTEL’s mission is to provide an elevated level of comfort for business and leisure travelers and flexing to their needs,” YOTEL CEO Hubert Viriot said in a press release. “Since sleep and comfort are undeniably top priorities for our guests, we researched and developed an exciting and unique solution that fits the YOTEL brand and delivers the best experience. We are delighted that the SmartBed by YOTEL will mean better sleep and cabin experiences for our guests while building upon YOTEL’s reputation as a hospitality innovator.”

The SmartBed will fit right in to existing glider mechanisms currently in YOTEL rooms. The company hopes the new beds will promote good sleep hygiene, allowing guests comfortable places to lounge for everything from reading and working to watching television and relaxing.

In addition to the new beds, YOTEL is also introducing a new campaign called YAWN, designed to help restless guests get some shut eye. Yawn is a 30-minute artistic film accompanied by a sleep-inducing soundtrack. It is available to guests on YOTEL’s in-room entertainment channel, and it can also be viewed online at YOTEL’s website.
