Woman Slaps Delta Employee at IND

A 36-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with battery after slapping a Delta Air Lines employee at Indianapolis International Airport (IND) because, she says, “God told me to.” Shamanika Howard reportedly approached a Delta counter, requesting a ticket. After the employee told her the desk was closed several times, Howard slapped the worker on the side of the head. She then jumped over the counter, called the police and evacuated the area.
