Winter Storm Causes Thousands of Cancellations Thursday

On Thursday, winter storm Niko hit portions of the Northeast, causing at least 3,500 cancellations. Per USA Today, almost 70 percent of flights at Logan International Airport (BOS) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) have been canceled. Over half of flights at JFK and Newark Liberty International (EWR) are grounded.
The situation has even affected flights headed into the storm’s path tomorrow and some airlines have waived fees.
