Willie Walsh: Aer Lingus Could Join oneworld

Willie Walsh, CEO of International Airlines Group (IAG), said last week in an interview that Aer Lingus – which is included under IAG – could be joining the oneworld frequent-flier alliance. The partnership could reportedly come as soon as 2017.

“The plan is Aer Lingus will rejoin the oneworld alliance and therefore will benefit from the arrangements that apply,” Walsh said.
