WestJet Remains Optimistic About Widebody Strategy

Gregg Saretsky, CEO of low-cost carrier WestJet, claimed on Tuesday that the airline will remain “bullish” in regard to its recent deployment of widebody jets. Although Saretsky declined to elaborate on WestJet’s future tactics for its fleet of widebody jets, he “hinted that an investor day in May could be an opportunity to unveil,” according to The Calgary Herald.
