WestJet Cargo Door Freezes Shut in Ontario

On Wednesday, passengers arriving to Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF)  were forced to wait while airport staff retrieved their luggage after the cargo door froze completely shut due to the cold snap currently affecting the region.

“Just as we’re about to do the baggage drop they put this announcement out saying, ‘We apologize for the delay, but the cargo door on the plane is frozen shut and we cannot offload your luggage,'” said one passenger.
