Want to Smoke Weed and Travel? This Job’s For You

Want to Smoke Weed and Travel? This Job’s For You
Jennifer Billock

If you love smoking weed and you love traveling, Heavy Hitters has the job for you—the company is hiring people to travel to events around the country and promote their pot vape cartridges for a somewhat odd payment of cash and credit for the company’s products every month; all travel is also covered.

Get ready, pot lovers. Southern California vape company Heavy Hitters has a new job available you’ll definitely want to check out. The company is hiring 20 people that they’ll call “Heavy Hitters Originals” who will essentially be paid to travel around the country and smoke weed.

The goal is to promote the companies vape cartridge products, schmooze with industry folks at events, and post about it on social media. The payment is a bit strange: $1,200 cash every month, plus $500 in credit for the company’s products.

“The opportunity is open to any and everyone that loves good times and good cannabis,” a Heavy Hitter spokesperson told Thrillist in an email.

If you want to apply, you’ll need to get on it fast—applications close November 23. As far as the application itself, it’s not much. You just need to answer a few questions online, submit a video of yourself talking about why you’re the best pot smoker for the job and answering a few questions from the company, upload it to YouTube and Instagram, and share away.

Heavy Hitters will pick 100 finalists from the group and then narrow it down to the 20 who will hit the road.
